Mark Duffield has joined the elite team of REALTORS® at Coldwell Banker Gosslee.
After a long career in the US Air Force that took him literally around the world, Mark has “signed on” to a new assignment as a REALTOR®. Although new to Coldwell Banker Gosslee, Mark is not new to real estate or the area. He grew up in a real estate investment family and has 28 years of experience as a real estate investor and property manager that he ran as a side business to his Air Force career. He has lived in this area for 14 years and owns homes in both Shreveport and Bossier. He is married to a local girl and has settled his family here for good. He is ready to serve both the established local community and the military with the same dedication, hard work and “clear speak” that served our country so well. “For the Air Force member inbound to Barksdale, I speak your language and am perhaps uniquely qualified to help you navigate the complexities of where to live to take the best advantage of access to the base, community activities, schools systems and to maximize resale value,” said Mark. “With 28 years of personal real estate investing experience, I have been very successful by approaching every house I purchased from the standpoint of a long term investment. I keep the focus on location, quality, personal economics and future trends that best insure both affordability and growth in value. I am ready to help others do the same and to bring my military work ethic, integrity, clear speak, and ability to boil the complex down to the basics. For those moving on to their next assignment, or otherwise relocating, I did it 14 times myself, often on very short notice. I understand the stress, last minute changes and tight timelines involved. No 9 to 5, week-days effort here…I’ll make it happen on your schedule.”
Mark, earned a B.S.M.E. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.P.A. in Public Administration, an M.M.A.S. in Military History and Strategy, and has half credits toward an M.B.A. He and his wife, Kelli, who works for the Caddo School Board, have put their five children through six different schools in the Shreveport/Bossier area, including public, private and magnet programs, which he believes qualifies him as an expert on the local school system. Mark, an avid hunter, shooter, and technical scuba diver and his family are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church and Southern Trace Country Club.
