I love the Independence Bowl. Not only do we get to show off the greatness of Northwest Louisiana, but we are also exposed to others from around the country.
Being in real estate, I am always fascinated by how others live. So I went on the websites for our "sister" Coldwell Banker companies in Philadelphia and Durham to see they types of houses they have and their prices.
I did a comparison of a traditional home for sale in our area, like this one
in North Bossier. Our agents Jeff Free and Kristen Sullivan are selling this beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home listed at $230,000. It is a single family home with 1,925 square feet in a convenient location that is attracting both downsizing empty nesters and first-time buyers.
Then I went to Coldwell Banker Preferred which helps buyers and sellers in Philadelphia. There were not a lot of homes that matched what we have here. So I picked this one
that is listed for $245,000 but is about half the size. It's also much more "city" than we are used to.
Finally, I went to Coldwell Banker Advantage in Durham to see what this type of house would cost there. I found one that is really close
, although it is $225,000 and only 1,200 square feet.
Take a look!
I know we will be gracious hosts at tomorrow's game and when all of the fans from Temple and Duke return home, they will have seen how great we are!
